The business of law is changing rapidly, and the core catalyst behind its radical transformation is legal tech.

Digital tools that were once a secondary consideration for legal pros are now seen as mission-critical, as best evidenced by the widespread adoption of AI. It may not be a new Industrial Revolution, but it’s not far off, either. And law firms that let these changes pass them by are playing chicken with obsolescence.

What a moment, then, for Legalweek—one of the world’s leading legal tech conferences—to pop up on the legal field’s collective calendar. The event returns to New York City on March 24th-27th, welcoming more than 6,000 industry leaders and 300 speakers to the New York Hilton Midtown.

Legalweek is where the present and future of legal tech collide. When you step into the building, it’s as if you can see legal practice evolving in real-time. It’s an exceptional opportunity to connect with key industry figures, gather insights from some of the field’s brightest minds, walk along the bleeding edge of innovation, and soak up the influences shaping the tech advancements and trends of tomorrow.

The Rev team is proud to be a part of such an essential event. As AI tools like our voice-to-text solutions continue to shift legal industry paradigms, there’s no better place for us to be. And for those of you who’ll be there alongside us, we’ve put together this guide to making the most of Legalweek 2025, from must-see sessions and hot topics to where Rev fits into this conceptual landscape. Let’s get into it.

The Sessions We’re Most Excited About

With over 100 events on the Legalweek agenda, pacing and planning will be crucial. So what better place to start than the beginning? The conference kicks off with Monday’s The State of AI in the Legal Industry, providing a bird’s-eye view of law and AI’s intersection. That’s a key foundation for everything that follows.

Also on day one is Choosing the Right Vendors for a Smart, Sustainable AI Infrastructure, which details the vendor criteria stakeholders need to get their tech stack right the first time. That should pair well with Tuesday’s Trustworthy AI: Ensuring Privacy and Security in AI Transformation, another look at building AI systems that are safe, reliable, and compliant. You need a service provider you can count on—why adopt AI tools if they’re going to put your client’s data at risk?

Day 2’s Disruption by Design: Shaping the AI-Forward Firm of Tomorrow and Generative AI: Judges, Lawyers, and Technologists on Legal Ethics and Practical Guidance are clear standouts, as well. In the former, American Arbitration Association leadership will offer a blueprint for successful AI adoption, while in the latter, federal and state court judges and an Am Law 100 firm partner will weigh in on gen AI’s impact on their profession. Both sessions can equip listeners for the field’s near future.

Closing out day 2 is GAI Ethics Showdown: Debating the Complexities of GAI Adoption, an especially exciting session. At Rev, we value clear communication above all else. So this talk, framed as a “no-holds-barred” debate in which legal pros are forbidden to use their beloved “it depends,” promises that only the best ideas will rise to the top of the discourse. And day 3’s Beyond the Hype: Generative AI’s Real Impact on Legal Practice Today evokes that same no-BS spirit.

Key Topics To Explore Further

Examining the Legalweek session slate, certain trends begin to emerge, the legal tech topics at the top of the hivemind. Looming large among those, as it should, is trust. In the business of justice, the stakes are high and ethics are paramount. Legal pros must be able to depend on the tools they use, just as their clients need to be able to depend on them. The right AI solutions are just that: solutions, not new problems.

It’s also plain to see that the industry is embracing automation. It’s almost a cliche to say that everyone in law, from firm leadership to legal assistants, is overworked. But with talks like The Death of Legal Busywork: How Self-Organizing AI Agents Will Make You Irreplaceable, the legal field is clearly seizing this opportunity to take its bandwidth back. That just might be AI’s greatest gift to legal pros: time.

Most of all, this Legalweek is oriented around adaptation. Legal practice is changing, and industry leaders know that changing with it is a must. That doesn’t mean looking past the challenges of AI integration, but rather confronting them with clear eyes. Sessions like The AI Training Revolution: Equipping Young Attorneys for the New Normal might as well beckon legal pros with a hearty, “Come on in, the water’s fine!”

The Expertise and Value Rev Brings

Rev’s mission is in lockstep with that messaging, making our collective expertise a valuable piece of the Legalweek puzzle. We believe in the power of human interaction to drive progress and innovation. It’s why we built our voice-to-text tools: to capture the conversations that make cases and help legal pros be at their best.

Our team’s expertise is multi-faceted, with an emphasis on legal services. I myself hold a law degree, passed the New York State Bar in 2014, and worked as an intellectual property attorney at O'Melveny & Myers LLP before later becoming Rev’s Vice President of Sales. We understand the legal landscape and designed our voice-to-text solutions with legal practice in mind, prizing security, accuracy, and efficiency.

Where Rev Fits

Our belief in clear communication drives our passion for not only legal work, but also Legalweek. It’s an invaluable chance to mind-meld with the changemakers moving legal tech forward.

That’s why we’re looking forward to showing out at Legalweek 2025, where Rev is a sponsor. Our team will have plenty of boots on the ground in the Hilton, offering legal pros a closer look at the trusted voice-to-text tools that are advancing speech tech, not to mention saving legal teams time and money.

See You At Legalweek!
