Does Rev Offer Discounts On Human-Generated Services?

Yes, you can subscribe to VoiceHub to receive discounts on Human Transcription. As a paid subscriber, you can get discounts depending on what plan you subscribe to – 3% for those on the monthly Basic plan, 15% for those on the annual Basic plan, 5% for those on the monthly Pro plan, 30% for those on the annual Pro plan, and custom discounts for those on the Enterprise plan. What Transcription Formats Do You Provide?

We offer the following transcription formats: Microsoft Word (.docx), PDF (.pdf), Plain Text (.txt). When you order transcription, all of our transcription file formats are available to you at no additional cost.

What Caption and Subtitle Formats Do You Provide?

We offer captions and subtitles in every major format, including but not limited to SubRip (.srt), Scenarist (.scc), MacCaption (.mcc), Timed Text (.ttml), Quicktime Timed Text (.qt.txt), Transcript (.txt), WebVTT (.vtt), DFXP (.dfxp), Cheetah .CAP (.cap), Spruce Subtitle File (.stl), Avid DS Subtitle File (.txt), Avid DVD Subtitle File (.txt), Scenarist 23.98 fps (.23p.scc), and burned-in captions.

Can I Get Timestamps With My Human Transcription?

Yes, we timestamp every new paragraph in a transcript for an additional $0.30 per minute. Your transcript is synced with audio, so you can click on any word and instantly hear that point in the audio—no scrubbing required.

What File Formats Do You Accept?

We accept audio and video recordings in MP3, MP4, WMV, AIF, M4A, MOV, AVI, VOB, AMR, WMA, OGG, AAC, and WAV. We also accept streaming video and audio files available on the web, plus seamless integration with YouTube, Vimeo, Zoom, Dropbox, and other major apps.

What Is The Average Turnaround Time For Rev’s Human-Generated Services?

The average turnaround time for Human Transcription and Human Captions for a 30-60 minute file is 12 hours. If you have a tight deadline, you may be interested in our Rush service that delivers your files back up to 5x faster. The average turnaround time for Global Subtitles for a 30-60 minute file is 96 hours.

Are There Restrictions On When You Can Cancel Your Subscription?

No, you can cancel your subscription at any time without any penalty. Simply go to the “Manage Subscription” page to cancel your subscription. If you are on a shared account, only the Admin and Billing Manager can access this page. You can click on your name in the top right corner and select “Manage Subscription” from the dropdown menu to navigate to your Plan Management page. Here you can view the current details of your plan, change to a different plan, update your payment method, and cancel your paid subscription.

When There Is More Than One User (Seat) Within A Subscription Are The Minutes Shared Between Seats?

Yes. Entitlements within seat subscriptions are pooled at the account level. If an individual user goes over their allotted seat entitlements they simply start consuming from the account's pooled available entitlement.

What Other Rev Products (i.e., Human Transcription, Captions, Subtitles) Are Included In The Subscription?

Free and Basic subscribers can access AI transcripts as part of their monthly AI minutes. Pro and Enterprise subscribers can access both AI transcripts and AI captions as part of their monthly AI minutes. As a paid subscriber, you also get a discount on Human Transcription – 3% for those on the monthly Basic plan, 15% for those on the annual Basic plan, 5% for those on the monthly Pro plan, 30% for those on the annual Pro plan, and custom discounts for those on the Enterprise plan.
