Dr. Fauci has served as the director of the national Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases since 1984. He became a household name though in just the past few years, as the Corona virus pandemic took a hold across the country. He spoke about his retirement plans earlier today on CNN. Dr. Anthony Fauci: (00:24) It is extremely unlikely, in fact, for sure that I'm not going to be here beyond January, 2025.
