The 2023 Oscar nominees are here. On Tuesday morning, Riz Ahmed and Allison Williams announced the nominations for the 95 Annual Academy Awards. Eight films received five or more nominations, but Everything Everywhere All at Once has the most with 11, followed by The Banshees of Inisherin and All Quiet on the Western Front, which each have nine.

Those three films are nominated for Best Picture alongside Avatar: The Way of Water, Elvis, The Fablemans, TAR, Top Gun: Maverick, Triangle of Sadness, and Women Talking. Elvis and Banshees also scored Best Actor noms for Austin Butler and Colin Farrell, respectively.

With Brendan Fraser, Paul Mescal, and Bill Nighy also being recognized for their respective roles. Cate Blanchett, Michelle Williams, and Michelle Yeoh will face off for Best Actress alongside Ana de Armas and Andrea Riseborough. And for Best Supporting Actor, Brendan Gleeson, Brian Tyree Henry, Judd Hirsch, Barry Keoghan, and Ke Huy Quan are all up for the prize.

While Angela Bassett, who already made history with her Golden Globes win this year is nominated for her supporting role in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, alongside Hong Chau of The Whale, Kerry Condon of The Banshees of Inisherin, and Everything Everywhere All at Once stars, Jamie Lee Curtis and Stephanie Hsu. And Steven Spielberg, who also took home a Golden Globe for Best Director is in the hunt for a director win from the Academy as well.

For Best Original Song, Rihanna’s Lift Me Up from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will face off against top tracks from Tell It like a Woman, Top Gun: Maverick, RRR, and Everything Everywhere All at Once. This year’s ceremony will be emceed by repeat host, Jimmy Kimmel on Sunday, March 12th at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood. It will be televised live on ABC.
